Core Services

Think Precision Healthcare provides adoption diligence for health innovation through a small number of complementary services described below.

These range from rapid system insight to governance-grade multidisciplinary assessment.

1. System Insight Session

Purpose

A focused, decision-oriented session providing rapid insight into how an innovation or strategy is likely to interact with real system conditions before commitments are made.

What it provides

  • testing of underlying assumptions
  • understanding of potentially unseen system effects, risks and opportunities
  • clarification of immediate decision questions
  • practical guidance on next steps

How it works

A short, structured engagement including:

  • pre-session preparation and context review
  • a focused 60–90 minute session
  • structured synthesis and written follow-up

Timescale: Typically 2-3 weeks

2. Clinical Board Simulation™

Purpose

A governance stress test that recreates a multidisciplinary decision environment to assess how innovations would be received within a real health system.

What it provides

  • realistic simulation of clinical and system decision-making
  • identification of system pressures, constraints and interdependencies
  • visibility of cross-domain interactions, unintended consequences and wider system effects
  • early indication of likely adoption outcomes

How it works

This is intentionally not guided or optimised in advance. It is designed to reflect how innovations are challenged and assessed within real clinical governance environments.

  • a multidisciplinary Clinical Board is convened
  • the client presents their work as they would in practice
  • the proposal is reviewed through a structured clinical governance discussion
  • the Clinical Board’s adoption decisions and rationale are provided

Outputs are directional rather than definitive, providing insight into how the innovation may be received if presented for adoption today.

Timescale: Typically within 6 weeks (driven by senior clinician availability)

3. System Impact Assessments

We provide two types of System Impact Assessment:

3.1 Independent System Impact Assessment (Flagship)

Purpose

The flagship Independent System Impact Assessment combines structured system assessment and Clinical Board Simulation™ to provide governance-grade insight into adoption readiness and likely system response.

Core Questions

  • What system effects will this innovation create, and what do they mean for safe and sustainable adoption?
  • Can the system align around this innovation?

What it provides

  • structured assessment across clinical, operational and system domains
  • identification of system effects, including ripple dynamics and points of fragility across multiple settings
  • insight into risks and opportunities across interconnected services
  • Clinical Board Simulation™ and governance synthesis

How it works

Structured assessment and Clinical Board Simulation™ are combined to support governance-grade adoption insight. These are carefully tailored but typically include:

  • structured review of system context and adoption considerations
  • assessment of relevant system constraints, dependencies and readiness considerations
  • Clinical Board Simulation™ as a multidisciplinary governance challenge environment
  • synthesis into decision-oriented outputs

Timescale: Typically 7-8 weeks, depending on scope and clinician availability

3.2 System Impact Diagnostic (Early Stage)

Purpose

Rapid identification of system effects, risks and opportunities before commitments are made.

Core Question

  • What system effects, risks and opportunities immediately stand out for this adoption decision?

What it provides

  • directional view of adoption feasibility and positioning
  • early visibility of system effects, constraints and interdependencies
  • identification of fragility points and unintended consequences
  • insight into risks and opportunities across interconnected services
  • guidance on whether deeper assessment is required

How it works

  • focused review using structured system assessment approaches
  • targeted input from relevant Clinical Board experts
  • rapid synthesis into a concise Adoption Risk Brief

Timescale: Typically 2-3 weeks
